در مراسم اسکار 2024، فیلم «اوپنهایمر» با نامزدی در ۱۳ بخش اسکار 2024 از جمله بهترین فیلم و بهترین کارگردانی پیشتاز بود.

دیگر آثار مطرح سال یعنی، «موجودات بیچاره» با ۱۱ و «قاتلین ماه گل» با ۱۰ نامزدی در رتبه بعدی بیشتری نامزدی قرار داشتند.
